Created by Donald Glover (Atlanta) and Francesca Sloane, Mr. &. Mrs. Smith is Amazon Prime Video’s latest bingeable offering, and we can’t get enough.

A television re-imagining of the iconic 2005 film of the same name starring Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, the new series manages to channel the essence of the original - a slick spy thriller oozing with chemistry between the two leads - whilst bringing a refreshing comedy and complexity to the genre that elevates it above others of its kind.

This time ‘John’ and ‘Jane’ are played by creator Donald Glover and Maya Erskine (Man Seeking Woman, Pen15), and are instead strangers posing as a married couple in order to complete missions given to them by a mysterious (but well-paying) organisation. Glover brings (of course) an infectious charisma to the role, perfectly matched by Erskine’s more down-to-earth (but no less funny) performance. Each episode tracks a different mission, complete with guest appearances from a whole host of talented A-Listers including the likes of Alexander Skarsgård and Paul Dano.

Fast-paced, witty and full of twists and turns, Mr. & Mrs. Smith will keep you guessing. All episodes are available to stream now on Amazon Prime - the perfect remedy for these cold February evenings.
