An immersive, audio-led booth experience designed to place audiences inside the unsettling world of UNDERTONE, capturing real-time reactions to the film’s haunting soundscape.

WHY

Following the US release of UNDERTONE, the objective was to build anticipation and awareness for its UK launch by creating a memorable, shareable experience that tapped into the film’s core theme: fear driven by sound.

We set out to translate this into a physical environment, encouraging audiences to engage directly with the narrative while generating organic social content.

WHAT

We designed and produced a freestanding, fully branded video booth, wrapped in custom vinyl graphics and anchored by a bold visual backdrop to create a striking on-site presence.

Inside, guests were immersed in the film’s eerie audio, the same unsettling recordings experienced by the lead character , while being filmed in real time. The experience captured authentic, unfiltered reactions as participants navigated the tension of what they could hear but not see.

Each interaction generated a short, personalised video, instantly accessible via QR code, allowing guests to download and share their content seamlessly across social platforms.

The installation became a focal point of the screening environment, drawing in attendees and encouraging repeat engagement as guests compared reactions and shared their experiences.
