Sirāt

Releasing in the UK by Altitude on 27 February 2026.

As man of the moment Jacob Elordi said in a recent interview where he recommended Sirāt: “Don’t read about. Just go and see it.”

In that vein then, will give you the basics: Sirāt is an enthralling ‘rave road movie’ from French-born Galician director Oliver Laxe, that follows a father and son who arrive at a rave in the mountains of Morocco, searching for their daughter and sister who disappeared months ago at another rave.

A life-changing cinematic experience

David Fear, Rolling Stone

With a pulsating, techno score that earned the film one of its two Oscar nominations (for Best Sound and Best International Feature film), Sirāt is a hypnotising journey through the desert, an epic (and at times extremely stressful) odyssey that needs to be seen on the biggest (and loudest) screen possible.

Want to see Sirāt before anyone else? Join us at our first ever elevenfiftyfive Soundsystem event next week. Hosted by elevenfiftyfive and Fracture, the evening brings together a curated panel of cultural voices to discuss and share music which unpacks soundsystem culture, rebellion and more. Each panelist shares personal reactions to the film and translates its emotional journey into cultural references alongside musical (inc Vinyl) selections, played live on the cinema soundsystem, turning the post-film moment into a unique conversation and shared listening experience. Tickets include a drink and are available to book here.
