Die My Love

Releasing in the UK by Mubi on 7 November 2025.

Another unique cinematic vision from the mind behind films like Morvern Callar (2002) and You Were Never Really Here (2017), Die My Love marks the long-awaited return from acclaimed Scottish filmmaker Lynne Ramsay.

Adapted from the 2012 novel of the same name by Ariana Harwicz, Die My Love follows Grace (Jennifer Lawrence) and her partner Jackson (Robert Pattinson), who have recently moved into an old house deep in the country. With ambitions to write The Great American Novel, Grace settles into her new environment, and the couple welcome a baby soon after. However, with Jackson frequently – and suspiciously – absent, and the pressures of domestic life starting to weigh on her, Grace begins to unravel, leaving a path of destruction in her wake.

An uncompromising portrait of a woman engulfed by love and madness, integral to the success of Die My Love is lead Jennifer Lawrence, with this film also marking a triumphant return for her after she took a step back from acting in 2018. Gripping and intense, Lawrence’s performance often leans into the animalistic, which only makes the drama feel more raw and immediate.

The Kind of Performance you go to the movies for

TIME

Punctuated by iconic needle drops and anchored by a tour de force performance from Lawrence, Die My Love is a heavy watch, but one we’d recommend nonetheless.
